About us
Fall Prevention Technologies, has been established since 2000 and operates from Johannesburg in Gauteng. From inception our core business is Industrial Rope Access.
This includes washing of windows, cleaning of silos, installation of advertisements on skyscrapers, painting of buildings, basically any application that requires competent people on ropes, high in the air.
The business has grown organically to include:
- Manufacture and distribution of our own branded harnesses
- Being distributor of South African manufactured static rope , which is tested and certified by the SANS to meet EN1891:1998 CE specifications
- Being an authorized distributor of Petzl equipment and being sole importer of Checkmate in South Africa.
- Installation of permanent horizontal lifeline systems
- Having a proper PPE retail outlet from where we conduct our business
We have grown and are continuing to grow, because the people and businesses that have been conducting business with us have been treated with the respect and honesty they deserve.
